What story are you telling yourself?
We make sense of the world through stories and whatever it is you are facing right now, you will be telling you self a story.
I want to help you be in charge of the story you tell yourself and in charge of how you write the next chapter, and all the chapters after that.
Talk yourself through the options in this story. “So here I am, facing this…”
- What is the best case scenario?
- What is the worst case scenario?
- What is the most likely scenario?
- What steps can I take towards a story of resilience here?
- What would it look like to bring out my best in this situation?
- What would a story of growth look like?
Having a resilient mind-set simply means taking control of how you dialogue with your mind. Your mind is like a powerful stallion, in order to get the best out of it you need to be an assertive rider.
Instruct your mind right now to propel you in the right direction, say out-loud to yourself
“I am taking the next step in the right direction, I am doing the next right thing”
And you will!
